几个月的外国独立生活，
让我发现到自己的无助，
人与人之间的交流，
让我觉得越来越难及琢磨，

Manchester United Stadium!

Well, here we are at the most famous place in Manchester: the Manchester United Football Stadium, largest stadium in UK!

Above 2 are the building structure of the stadium... Looks damn yeng right just from outside?

First meal cooked by myself

Well, this is the first meal I have cooked by myself in Preston today~
Ingredients: Pasta, eggs, carrots, onions, nuggets, tika sauce, butter as oil (lol...)

It takes me around 40 minutes just to finish it... well the taste are not too good, salt not enough. Eggs frying skill too lousy (can see the egg noob look right?)... and also, use of nugget as the pasta sauce? Haha...

Well at least it's my first own cooked meal though... ngek~

Manchester Food Part 1

These are foods that we had eaten in Manchester for these days~~~

Moka Cafe
No need to doubt it, the bottle is beer... Well I orders BBQ ribs, cheesy pasta and also jasmine rice (Asian must eat rice or else we don't feel like we have gain carbohydrate!!!)... Total cost? 7-8 pound if I'm not wrong...
The food are very nice here and I'm very happy cause I DO feel full after eating them... yummy...

East East:
These are Indian Food in Preston City Centre. The one I ordered is the only SUPER HOT + SPICY choice there... It taste very very nice I must say, but unfortunately... I'm severely sick that day so my appetite was not good, food wasted haih!
Shewood:
A normal look like chicken chop with BBQ sauce in a restaurtant at Sherwood. It taste normal though, but is cheap and it makes me REALLY full... well quite "hua suan" la at least...

Somewhere around Manchester (forgot what's the shop name already)
Well, green beans, fries, love shape tomato (swt...) and cheese covered chicken (or something like that)... taste normal also, nothing much nothing less...

Manchester life

We reach manchester around 12.25pm UK town... and it is raining so saddddddddddddd.....
Apparently the senior that kind to house us is having classes so we (me and Natasha) are stucked at the below store: Martin

Luckily we take cab to here if not we gonna carry all our things up to train, down to train, up stairs, down stairs, up bus, and down bus, and wait stupidly.... The cab is 70pound by the way (so exp I must say)...

These are mine and natasha luggages (just a small small part of it)... we must admit that we look stupid waiting under martins for senior to come and save us...

Guess what we doing? Eating our dinner (pizza) at a bus station man.... haih... it's a good experience that most preston shops closed after 6pm latest... we go there walking like stupid and ask "where can we get our dinner?", and one person tell us "kfc".... Zzzzz
Some more we get lose around th preston city... swt man... I'm very very tired but well... good experience right?

From Malaysia to Manchester till now...

23th September, the day I part from Malaysia and flying to Manchester..... Ahaha the pictures shall describe my journey:

KLIA obsviously.... ahahaha.... As I reached early so have to sit in Mc Donald, waiting for boarding...

Taking the train???? towards our plane. Haha above are seniors that gonna be my future batchmates~~~ But none of them are my hospital mates though...

The TV on the plane. It's advance yet small.... haha... But the movies are quite updated though (not very of course)...

Stopping and transit at dubai. Since gonna wait for 2 hours, we just walk around doing nothing, wasting energy~~~ lalala

FINALLY reaching in Manchester airport... weeeeee~~~~ but UNFORTUNATELY it's raining while we reached, the weather is super duper hyper colddddddddd..... freezzzzzinnnngggg

Uploading some photos I taken for my last day in Vista Komanwerl B-21-7....

Sky looks cloudy that day... maybe sad cause I'm leaving? XD...

Well, kinda miss my life in IMU... It's the place that I have made my real friends despite my primary and secondary school life though... Gonna miss my dota-mate, sing k-mate, go out-mate, study-mate, csu-mate, talk shit-mate etc etc... sobsob...

Can't forget all the crazy things I participate in IMU, esp orientation... Never though I can be that crazy haha... Creating own club together with my friend also a very very special thing I done despite I never thought I'm a founder of a club in IMU haha....

IMU gives me all the very nice and unforgettable memories in my life... gonna miss it... Good Luck to all my friends~

P/S: The last event I join in IMU, GAMP, is a great success!!! Thanks to all my committees to make it happen inside IMU (though I didn't do any work at all...)

有很多的朋友，可是"看起來朋友很多，可是知心的沒有幾個"這句話很深刻的形容了雙子。雙子很能說話，他跟別人可以天南地北的聊，可以聊得很八卦，也會聊一些很嚴肅的話題。雙子可以跟你聊很多東西，可是注意了，他都只是跟你聊一些不關自己的事。隨便他跟你說些什麼，可是跟自己有關的都只是些皮毛而已。比如，今天又有某個明星怎樣怎樣了；隔壁班有多少美女帥哥的。關於自己的事，他幾乎是不說的，就算是說，也是說一些關於自己無關痛癢的事。當你想更進一步的瞭解雙子，他會很自然的把話題給扯開。

對於自信的雙子來說，他又同時很沒有安全感，這是雙子特有的矛盾。他喜歡把自己重重包圍住，不讓自己暴露。對於雙子來說，如果在一個還不瞭解的人面前把自己暴露了，就等於讓別人抓住了自己的把柄。這樣就失去了一定的優勢。當雙子感到獨孤悲傷時，只會一個人躲在房間裡哭，或者一個人鬱悶著。雙子也很怕被傷害，很多時候寧願自己承受一切，也不願別人抓住自己的把柄。所以久而久之也就養成了習慣。雙子基本上也是個很痛苦的人。表面上總是很有活力，很快樂的樣子，可是沒人的時候他又總是很憂傷。雙子總會被一種莫名的悲傷籠罩。但他不會讓別人發現的，他怕被傷害，也怕被別人拋棄，只能自己硬挺著一切。所以雙子很神經質，精神脆弱，容易人格分裂，因為承受了太多的東西. 一般來說雙子的孩子都很早熟。雙子對很多的東西都在乎得要命，可是表面上就是看起來什麼都不在乎。雙子並不是故意要掩飾自己，上面說了，這只是一種習慣了，可是在外人看來他就成了虛偽的人。

至於冷酷無情真的不知道該從何說起。其實雙子是最平和的星座，如果可以不發生衝突，都會盡量避免。雙子也很少跟別人吵架，他討厭吵架，如果是因為一些生活瑣碎小事吵架，那麼雙子就在吵完的那一刻就把這件事給忘了；要雙子真的跟你翻臉，除非是你的所作所為或所說的話實在讓雙子不能忍受，這時他會很鄙視得看你一眼，然後頭也不回地走掉，甚至會不給你留面子地離開。這時你一輩子也別想再和他和好了，就算有的雙子礙於面子和你再成為朋友，但是他們已經對你鄙視到了極點，只不過維持著這一層不得不維持的"朋友"關係其實。

很大一部分雙子，對待感情是非常專一的，之所以給人留下花心的美名，是因為很少有人能夠讓略帶童心的雙子動真感情，不是雙子鐵石心腸，而是雙子個性裡面天生有一些憂鬱，一些潛在的不自信，只是雙子隱藏的深入，可是一旦讓雙子動了真感情，那麼恭喜你了，雙子的天真，率直，外加表達能力豐富，一定能讓你獲得很多快樂。

2 more weeks of holidays... Nothing much I have done... everyday just computer TV computer TV computer TV... Rotting at home yet not rot yet... Haha still got teman mummy go out also la... Well, the only things I have learn to do during this long long long holidays is just using the photoshop~ Lalala...

Lovely Tomyam~~ Because of this bowl of tomyam, nearly all other tomyam I eat outside are tasteless... T^T my choice of food outside has become lesser~~ haih what can I do, this bowl too nice liao mah~~

2 more weeks (17 more days) I will be flying to Manchester, gonna miss all my friends T^T. But it's ok, we will still meet each other in any corner of this world~ (MY ACCOMMODATION IN UK STILL NOT YET DONE... GONNA STAY IN ROAD T^T)

Most importantly, all this are cheap you know!!! buahaha!!! You definitely can't get these kind of SUPER NICE food at other place, esp KL.
Keep on saying KL. Why? Cause the food there lousy and expensive!!!! ROAR!!!

Today is one of the most memorable day I ever had - celebrate my birthday with my dear friends~
Well, they tried to throw me a surprise in the midnight (so confident I will definitely go Elaine place to play taboo... lol!) but unfortunately, someone accidentally spread the secret to me (unintentionally though haha). But it's ok, I'm still touched as this is the first time I celebrate my birthday with dear friends after 20 years ♥♥♥

No party, no DJ, no clown, no performance, no fireworks.... but who cares! For me, friends is more than enough!

Thanks to my dear friends: Elaine, Joyce, King Hung, Jon, Manlo, Leow Khai, David, and Chin Nam!!! And don't try to attack me when I'm taking out the candles with my mouth! Ngek~~ I got strategy one you know! Buahaha!!! (That's why I think so long before taking out hiehiehie)

Well, though it's a short gathering, still it will be one of the most memorable day in my life~ Gonna miss you guys haih....

Post - EOS syndrome: DON'T CARE LIAO A!!! HOLIDAY A!!! STUPID EOS A!!! BURN ALL THE NOTES A!!!

I guess most people have the same syndrome as I. Haha. Nothing much been done these 2 days after EOS. Still very emo about EOS, scare of next friday 4pm (when result come out)... aiks...

Thursday after EOS straight go carefour, at first want to play bowling but, what the hell, competition is being held, in the end cannot play T^T. So how? Spend time playing snooker hahaha. Most of us nearly slept when playing (taking so long time to in just one ball lol, we are noob after all~ or me only...).
Night time is the time to go for movie!!! Prince of Persia!!! Total of 15 people go together (one people ffk me after getting PMS result. Though I feel swt, but never mind, I understand~). But but, the movie makes me down... It spoils my mood... For those who didn't play the game before say it's very nice... But for me who is POP fans, it's like "WHAT THE HELL! STUPID STORY LINE!! STUPID FIGHTING!!! STUPID DEATH!!!". Haih, but it's ok... at least everyone is happy~ (since it's planned meant to be happy, better not spoil the environment due to me lalala~)

Friday morning go for OSCE debrief, not to know what I done wrong (I already know those stupid mistakes I have done due to emo-ness in exam, and I'm confident in my skill XD), but to cari kawan and chat~ Then afternoon chiong k in SUNWAY a!!!! At first want to watch movie after chiong k, but since one of us say it's not nice, so in the end we spend 5 hours singing~ Aha very stress to sing with a bunch of pro people~ but it's enjoying though~ lalala~
But I learned a lesson today during sing k... NEVER ORDER COLD DRINK WITH ICE IN SING K CAUSE IT'S DAMN FREAKING COLD INSIDE THERE!!! I'm now near to sickness, which forced me not able to join others in cc night time!! T.T

Now thinking what to do this few days... Time is running fast, wanna spend more time with my dear friends before we all separated around the world... haih gonna miss you all guys!

My yummy yummy dinner: 面线汤 (mian xian tang)
This is the best "mian xian tang" I have ever eat ya know~. Although the presentation looks normal and no different from any other been eaten before, but the content is totally wow!
Let me think what this bowl of "mian xian tang" contain. Hmmm, "mian xian" of course, vegetables, wan tan (云吞），scallop (带子) and herbal medicine (like jujubes).
This is not all yet! The soup is the main concentration of this bowl of food! It is mix up together with chicken essence and DOM 养命酒 inside! The soup is compulsory finished wei~

Yummy yummy, still not satisfied after finish it~ I WANT MORE!!!

4 days post-summative syndrome

Arghhh, already 4 days after summative and I havn't start studying yet... OMG man... Let me think what I had been doing after summative... Hmmm... didn't go for feedback (regretting now... T^T)... Go midvalley at first want to sing k but the price make us... swt... RM40++ geng! So dinner + waiting to play bowling for 30 minutes and give up (damn many people...)... In the end we end up playing those machine games for 2 hours swt... After that movie (Ip man 2!! fa shan yong chun, ip man) hahahaha... Then mamak only go back, which is already 1am that time...

Friday morning 8am badminton nearly die of tiredness (wei, i sleep at 2am ok...), then practice csu but I'm just sitting there half sleeping haha.... afternoon go cc play Left 4 Dead till 5pm!!! buahaha me, jon, david, leow khai is the best!!! lalala~~~ Night time doing what? Facebook msn dota facebook again ==''... 2nd day wasted.

Saturday do nothing much the whole day, other than facebook msn and dota gain... even finish one chinese online novel (which is around 300 chapters!!! swt... I'm really walking house looking flower hahaha).. 10pm go david house chillax, play fifa and drink red wine (kena tipu... though is beer at first but.. never mind hahaha).

So what I have done today? Morning sleep till 10am, then facebook for 1 hour, read novel again for 5 hours none stop (I'm chinese novel addict! but depends on type). Then dinner and after that kacau people on msn (haha sorry if anyone who studying kena kacau by me on facebook or msn~~~). Now, I'm just blogging and writing stupid things here hiehiehie~

Tomorrow is a new day, to start study.... STUDY AAAAA!!!!

"Yes, my teacher," said the young man. He close his eyes, and suddenly he saw all kinds of things in font of him: wealth, power, women, etc... He felt very happy and do not want to open his eyes, scare he may lost all of the things.

After a few days, a young lady called "happiness" appears in front of him. She is so beautiful that the young man fall in love in his first sight. "Please, open your eyes and look at me," said the young lady. The young man scared he may lost his current happiness and refused to open his eyes, no matter how the lady begged him. In sadness, the lady turned away and left.

The young man hesitated and in the end decided to open his eyes. When he open, all the things disappeared, left him with nothing other than regret.

However, when he turned back his head, he saw a young, normal looking lady holding an umbrella, standing behind him, block the sunshine and rain for him for days, and looking at him with loves and patient.

IMU Ball 2010: Audicieux (10th of April) at Hotel Royale Chulan....

Wow, it is a great ball I have ever been...

Haha actually what I think is that it's more like a dinner (clubbing time dinner some more) more than a ball... We just sit down, eat, talk and watch performance, and music used are mostly clubbing songs than the usual formal ball (where classical musics are used).

What fun about this ball is, you can see that most are your batchmates! Go around taking photos, talk crap, woohaa together.... It's fun ya'know.

However that is not I want to say here. My stress is more on mentally (not psycho thx...)

As medical student, everyday is a stress for me.

Ah what a peaceful day. Nice weather, not hot yet not cold. Looking at the peaceful sea surely will calm your mind.

Waves hitting the beach non-stop, daily and night. It maybe looks normal, but you will appreciate the small waves (what if you see a wave from far away? ready to run right?).

The line that separate the sky and the sea. It looks so near yet so far. So near that you can catch it clearly with you eyes. So far that no matter how to chase it, you will never meet the line.

Comic Fiesta 2009

Woohoo, Comic Fiesta is held in Sunway Convention Centre at 19th and 20th of DEC.

So, I go there for 3 reasons:

1. as anime and manga fans watch performance and cosplay

2. buy some anime things

3. of course, to see LENG LUI LA!!!

Sad thing is, I don't have my camera with me. I only take pictures with my noob 2Mpx hp camera only damn!

Summary:

The movie storyline build up slowly and steadily, which makes you feel likes waiting for something later.

Some part is really makes me heartbroke (when the hometree fall down), and some part make me feel encouraged (when the main character come out as turok matao and encouraging the Na'vi)

By the director of "titanic", what do you expect?

OF COURSE IT IS DAMN **** NICE MAN!!!!

I give the rate of 100 out of 10, trust me.

ADVICE: Don't ever go spend your money watch avatar 3D. It is just waste of time and money as it is just the same as 2D. the word "3D" is just bull shit!!!

Here comes the awaited M209 orientation: CHECKMATE!

This time I be the OO (orientation Committee) for group 8 again, lol.
We meet with the juniors at 1pm in pbl room. and og my god, there are totally 20+ juniors and 20+ OO's in the small room (again, group 8 has the most OOs). CO2 accumulation, it is damn hot and dizzy stay in there....

Group 8: Infinity (seriously I feel this symbol means group 8 has down man...)
Group cheer: no idea cause not there... only know it ends with "To the infinity, and beyond!", lame... My opinion for the cheer is: tiger head snake tail (don't kill me group 8)

Ice breaker at night. Start with dry ice breaker (Not there so not really know whats happen, aha):

From what I know, group 8 has won 5 games and lose 1 game (don't know which one).

Not because I got nothing to do, but is too many things to do!
Do my report, call hospitals, plan for blood donation drive, updating myself about Nihon No Sekai, type history taking, play "celestrial destroyer" (online games), practice piano, update blog, study!!
Arghhh, I'm in a mess now....

Summary of elective

So, let me summarize what I have learn, seen, and observed in the hospital:

Cath lab: coronary catheterization/angiogram, PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), UAE (uterine artery embolization, also called UFE where F stands for Fibroid).
Radiology department: X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, ERCP (Endoscopy Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).
Digestive department: OGDS (Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy), Colonoscopy, Varices ligation
Heart and Vascular Department: Echocardiogram, stress test
Operation theater: Nailing for bone fracture, eye cataract, AV fistula, haemorrhoidectomy, bilateral inguinal hernioraphy, mini laparoscopy cholecystectomy, C section, hystectomy, DM leg ulcer. (Fail to see any open heart surgery, urgh!)
Pathology lab: taking blood, mostly machines
Clinics: EEG (Electroencephalography), Campbell de Morgan spots, striae gravidarum, genu varum, pseudocoarctation of aorta (2 cases)

Have to find out, understand, absorb, and memorise those things above.... Urgh.....

Finally Elective is finish

Urgh... After suffering for 2 weeks in Penang Adventist Hospital, finally we (Me, Thomas, Eric, Robin, Yi Wern) have finish our elective without getting any infection and disease (esp H1N1).
Hoooorraaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers for our survival!
But of course, we didn't just spend our 2 weeks lives inside the hospital, but of course outside too! Gurney, Queensbay, Batu Ferringi, Butterworth..... Important to relax ourselves ya'noe since it is holidays.
